Promote Effective Use of Agricultural Water in Urmia Lake Basin by piloting the precision irrigation and climate-smart agriculture action plan in Barandouz Chai, Miandoab Plain, Naghadeh plain, and Mahabad Plain, West Azarbayejan, Iran

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Islamic Republic of Iran invites qualified institutions to submit proposals for the implementation of activities under the project “Promoting Effective Agricultural Water Use in the Urmia Lake Basin through Piloting Precision Irrigation and Climate-Smart Agriculture Action Plans in Barandouz Chai, Miandoab Plain, Naghadeh Plain, and Mahabad Plain, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran.”

Eligible institutions are invited to submit their proposals via email to FAOIR-RFP@fao.org no later than Wednesday, 15 July 2026 (24 Tir 1405), at 15:00 Tehran time. Technical and Financial Proposals must be submitted as separate PDF documents.

To support prospective applicants, FAO will organize a pre-bid meeting to address questions and provide clarifications regarding the RFP. The details are as follows:
