75 Years with the United Nations

- TEHRAN - The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism, in partnership with the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Allameh Tabatabaei University, the United Nations Information Center (UNIC), the International Criminal Court's Law Institute, and the Word for Peace Institute, organized a webinar on the occasion of UN Day, entitled "75 Years with the United Nations" on 24 October 2020.
The virtual conference began by screening of the UN Day video message of the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres.
Then Professor of International Law, Allameh Tabatabai University Dr. Hibatollah Najandi-Manesh; Professor of Allameh Tabatabai University, Dr. Seyed Ghasem Zamani; Professor of Law, University of Tehran, Dr. Elham Aminzadeh; Professor of Law, Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, Dr. Alireza Zaheri; Director of the Theological Institute for Peace and Human Rights Activist, Dr. Gholam Dehlavi and Attorney and International Lawyer, Dr. Curtis Doebler respectively delivered their speeches on "Countering Terrorism and double Standards", "Access to Justice for Victims of Terrorism", "The Situation of Sustainable Peace and Security", "A Study of the Common Sense Process at the United Nations", "The Spread of Terrorism and Extremism" and "The Role of the Superpowers in the Functioning of the United Nations".
