FAO(Re-advertised) Request for Proposal – Letter of Agreement for National Demand-Side Climate Change Mitigation Plan and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment
Notice: Extension of the Deadline
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Islamic Republic of Iran hereby informs all interested institutions that the deadline for submitting proposals for National Demand-Side Climate Change Mitigation Plan and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment for its implementation has been extended. The new deadline is now 02 Aug 2025 at 23:59 Tehran time.
This extension aims to provide additional time for thorough proposal development and submissions. Eligible institutions are encouraged to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals separately in PDF format via email to FAOIR-RFP@fao.org, as detailed in the Request for Proposal document.

Important note:
- The following documents must be submitted along with technical proposal:
- Evidence of the legal status of Organization in the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the registration certificate
- A letter in organization’s letterhead in which accepting the terms and conditions applicable to FAO Letters of Agreement as laid out in the LoA template in Annex I.
- The full name, address, fax and/or email address and telephone numbers of your organization (association, institute, etc.) and contact persons; The banking details (name and address of bank, branch name and branch code, account number, IBAN number).
- Bidders who submitted their proposals in the first round of the RFP may update their submissions and supporting documents, if necessary. Otherwise, they are kindly requested to confirm the validity of their initial bids by sending an email to FAOIR-RFP@fao.org.
